So as I was applying lotion to my horrendously dry winter legs, I realized that I have a bruise about six inches long on my shin. It doesn’t hurt or anything, but seriously. How on earth do I not remember hitting myself on something hard enough to get a bruise THAT big and in such a sensitive spot?

Methinks I need to lay off those Raspberry Cosmos for a while…

We had our formal on Friday night. It was, hm okay. Kind of boring to be honest. The place we had it wasn’t too nice and the DJ was just awful. Oh well, at least we got to get dressed up, eat some food, drink some jack’n'cokes and have a somewhat good time. If anything, at least we all looked really good.

Karen Holbrook has a brain? No…wait. It must be true. She finally realized that some people have to walk 30 minutes to class in this weather.

Give her a hand people. For finally realizing that since every college in Ohio and Indiana canceled class today, she should probably follow suit. That’s right, as of 1:30pm today, we finally got our effin snowday.

So I dyed my hair really light brown. I haven’t decided if I like it yet. I’m getting closer and closer back to blonde, at least right now since I still have some streaks that I missed when dying my hair. I used a different hair dye that I haven’t before. Loreal Superior Preference or something like that? I usually use Loreal natural match. Anyways, the smell of the dye made my eyes sting and tear up, so needless to say, I was pretty much dying my hair blindly. I really don’t recommend that anyone buy it. Although the color is nice.

So yesterday was a good day for three reasons.

1) My big brother and little sister came to visit me at school last night! Lots of fun, except Big Brother kept complaining because we made him watch E! the whole time. Hey, can I help it that I have an interest in how Anna Nicole Smith died? Because if someone is at fault, I want to thank them for the fact that I don’t have to see any more disgusting Trimspa commercials.

2) Somebody who reads this blog…ahem L…has a little brother who asked me to be his friend on MySpace yesterday. So cute ) Seriously, we’re getting married.

3) I had Subway for lunch and it was deeeeelicious!

My goodness, the sun isn’t even up yet!

There’s nothing worse than knowing that your 10:30am class is canceled. Waking up at 5am for no reason. And not being able to go back to sleep.

There’s a reason that I take Nyquil, it’s a safety precaution against having to sit at my computer at 7am, Facebooking to pass time.

I have a dream, that one day…

…I will walk upstairs and the thermostat will NOT be set at 82 degrees.

…I will walk in the kitchen and not have to jump over three full bags of garbage that have been sitting there since last week.

…I will make soup in a pan and not have to throw it out because the person who ‘washed’ the pan before me only used soap…no water.

…I will do laundry and only do it once. AKA my clothes will not be taken out of the dryer by someone else and thrown on the dirty floor just because THEY need to use the dryer RIGHT NOW and I am at class.

…I will open the freezer and not experience the effects of an avalanche.

…I will walk into the living room and no one will be there. AND the tv, cable box and playstation will ALL BE TURNED OFF. Because obviously they should ALL stay on when no one is home…

…I will come home from class at eight o’clock on Thursday nights after my roommates have left for happy hour and every light but the hallway light will be turned off. Apparently they feel the need to leave all lights, including the bathrooms, on just in case an ant can’t find its way around our house in the dark.

…I will use the microwave, without blowing a fuse.

…I will go an entire week without plunging one toliet. Or calling our rental company to complain.

…I will walk into the kitchen and there will be not only a clean bowl to eat my cereal out of, but also a clean spoon to go with it. No more eating cereal with a fork!

Hey, a girl can dream…can’t she?
